Donghua Tianye Shines at 2025 (China) Eurasia Commodity and Trade EXPO

On June 26, 2025 (China) Eurasia Commodity and Trade EXPO kicked off in grand style at the Xinjiang International Convention and Exhibition Center, attracting over 2,800 enterprises from 50 countries and regions worldwide. As a leading green chemical and new materials enterprise, Donghua Tianye made a remarkable appearance by showcasing its full industrial chain of PBAT-based biodegradable products—from raw materials and high-performance polymers to eco-friendly end products—demonstrating the company’s strong capabilities in technological innovation and market development.

Leveraging the local abundant coal and petroleum resources along with its strategic location, Donghua Tianye has built a complete and robust industrial chain—from PBAT resin pellets to end products—supported by core technological innovation. At the expo, two key product lines stood out:

PBAT Fully Biodegradable Material
PBAT (Polybutylene Adipate Terephthalate) is a fully biodegradable resin with a crystallization temperature around 110°C, a melting point near 130°C, and a density ranging from 1.18 g/ml to 1.3 g/ml. It offers high toughness, excellent heat resistance, strong impact performance, and ease of processing. Under suitable natural conditions, PBAT breaks down into small molecules such as carbon dioxide and water through the action of microorganisms and sunlight within a verifiable period.

It can be blended with inorganic fillers, starch, and other biodegradable materials like PLA, and is suitable for various film-blowing processes to produce cost-effective products. Applications include agricultural mulch film, express packaging, shopping bags, disposable consumer goods, medical supplies, cosmetic and pharmaceutical bottles, and biomedical polymers.

Donghua Tianye introduced innovative biodegradable material solutions centered on PBAT modification technology, featuring two major green product series:

• Fully Biodegradable Dust-proof Nets: Made from specially modified resin, these nets achieve a balance between high strength and controlled degradation through multi-component compounding. They offer 30% better dust suppression than conventional products, withstand harsh sandy and windy conditions for up to 6 months, and degrade naturally without the need for recovery.

• Fully Biodegradable Agricultural Mulch Film: With over 30 customized formulations, this film was successfully trialed across 6,667 hectares of corn, sugar beet, and peanut crops in Xinjiang in 2024. It provides excellent heat and moisture retention and breaks down automatically after use, preventing soil pollution.

Through technological innovation, Donghua Tianye is promoting the replacement of conventional materials with sustainable alternatives, offering eco-friendly solutions for dust control, eco-agriculture, and green consumption.

At the exhibition booth, the company set up an immersive experience zone where visitors could touch and examine products, gaining a hands-on understanding of PBAT-based eco-products. A professional team was on hand to promote the company’s products and brand image, aiming to explore new cooperation opportunities and expand market presence.
