CNCEC Donghua Tianye New Materials Co., Ltd. Co-hosts National Standard Revision Seminar and Field Demonstration on Fully Biodegradable Agricultural Mulch Film

CNCEC Donghua Tianye New Materials Co., Ltd., affiliated to China National Chemical Engineering (CNCEC), co-organized a seminar on standard revision for fully biodegradable agricultural mulch film, along with a field demonstration event, in Shihezi, Xinjiang. The event brought together over 50 experts from local government bodies, industry associations, universities, research institutes, and leading enterprises.

The seminar centered on technical innovations and proposed revisions to industry standards, drawing on application data collected from demonstration fields in Shihezi. Since March 2025, under the guidance of industry associations and local authorities, Donghua Tianye has taken a leading role in establishing biodegradable mulch film demonstration plots in the 144th Regiment. The company has coordinated the collection of film samples from more than 20 organizations, oversaw film-blowing processing, and supported the sowing and mulching operations in cotton and corn trial fields. Following the completion of film laying, Donghua Tianye has carried out planned periodic sampling and monitoring, compiling comprehensive baseline data to track crop growth and mulch film performance.

Looking ahead, Donghua Tianye will continue to expand its efforts in biodegradable mulch film demonstration projects, driving technological advancement and innovation.
